Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Abby Iron Doors (“Abby Iron Doors,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit abbyirondoors.com (the “Site”) or request a quote or service from us. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

a. Information you provide to us

When you request a quote, request service, or contact us, we collect the details you submit — typically your name, email address, phone number, state/location, project details (such as opening dimensions and design comments), and any other information you choose to include.

b. Information collected automatically (first-party website analytics)

We operate our own first-party visitor analytics (“Web Visit”). When you browse the Site we automatically collect:

  • a first-party visitor identifier stored in a cookie (see Section 3);
  • your IP address and the approximate geographic location (country, state/region, and city) derived from it;
  • your browser user-agent and device type (desktop, mobile, tablet);
  • the referring URL and any marketing parameters in the link you arrived from (for example utm_* or fbclid);
  • the pages you view, the time spent on each page, and on-page interactions such as clicks on calls-to-action and links, scroll depth, and when you begin filling in a form.

c. Information from third-party analytics & advertising tools

We also use third-party tools, loaded through Google Tag Manager, that collect usage and device information through cookies and similar technologies. These currently include Google Analytics (GA4) and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. See Section 5.

2. Cookies & Similar Technologies

A cookie is a small file stored on your device. We use both first-party and third-party cookies:

  • First-party — a visitor_id cookie containing a random identifier (no name or email), kept for up to about two years, used to recognize your browser across pages and repeat visits so we can measure traffic and follow up on quote requests.
  • Third-party — cookies and identifiers set by Google and Meta for analytics and advertising (Section 5).

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of many advertising cookies using the tools in Section 6. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Site function.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your quote requests, service requests, and inquiries;
  • To operate, secure, and improve the Site and understand how visitors use it (first-party analytics);
  • To measure and improve our marketing, including which campaigns and referrals bring visitors and leads;
  • To prevent fraud and abuse and to comply with legal obligations.

We rely on our legitimate business interest in operating and improving our own website and following up with people who contact us.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only:

  • with service providers that host our site, send our email, and provide analytics and advertising services, under agreements that limit their use of the information;
  • with advertising and analytics partners as described in Section 5;
  • when required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property;
  • in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition).

Some sharing for advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under certain U.S. state laws — see Section 7.

5. Advertising & Analytics Partners

We use the following third parties. Each processes data under its own privacy policy, and each offers ways to opt out:

6. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to provide our products and services, and to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. We may retain de-identified or aggregated analytics data for longer.

7. Your Choices & Rights

You can:

  • control cookies through your browser settings;
  • opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies via YourAdChoices (DAA) and the Network Advertising Initiative;
  • use a browser-based Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor where required; and
  • request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us at info@abbyirondoors.com.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to access and delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To exercise any of these rights, email info@abbyirondoors.com; we may need to verify your identity before responding.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may be highlighted on the Site.
